Our client is looking for a sales professional to join them in their unique scientific industry. Every day our client goes above and beyond to deliver innovative solutions to help their clients make important decisions that directly impact the community and the environment.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Increases sales by developing new accounts and expanding penetration with existing customers.
  • Meets defined sales plan with existing customers and target accounts.
  • Coordinates sales and service activities effectively with customer service, operations, marketing, IT, and other sales personnel through effective teamwork and communication.
  • Routine sales calls to existing and new customers including cold calls to prospective clients.
  • Provides support to existing and new customers in the buying decision, managing implementation, dealing with dissatisfaction and enhancing relationships.
  • Controls expenses effectively and meets expense budgets and complies with related Corporate policies.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Gathers pertinent information regarding market, customers, competitors’ strategies etc.
  • Participates in marketing programs and promotion of new and existing products.
  • Develops and maintains a market knowledge of their customer base and/or territory.
  • Provides sales projections of assigned clients as required for annual budgets.
  • Participates in industry forums to raise industry awareness of our client
  • Effectively uses entertainment to maintain, develop, or enhance customer relationships.
  • Effectively uses sales tools and processes to sell target accounts.

You are the ideal SALES REPRESENTATIVE if:

  • B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in relevant sciences or equivalent in experience.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and demonstrate safe driving record.
  • Strong technical background would be a definite asset.
  • Excellent listening, customer service, problem-solving, superlative communication and presentation skills.
  • Ethical, dynamic, energetic, motivated, wants to make a difference.
  • High level of multi-tasking with large cross-section of clients.
  • Visiting multiple client locations.
  • Significant portion of the work day spent outside of the office.
