Strategic Sales Manager – Staffing & Recruiting

The Senior Strategic Sales Manager will secure workforce solutions programs with new customers for the entire solutions spectrum—spanning Talent Supply Chain Management, Outsourcing and Consulting, Commercial Staffing and Professional/Technical businesses.  This person will expand and enhance business relationships with prospective customers using a consultative sales approach.  The expectations of this role are: drive strategic sales growth, maximize profitability, and enhance market share and customer satisfaction.

The Assignment:

  • Increase market share of workforce solutions spend and total talent supply chain in new accounts.
  • Develop and qualify leads from new prospects.  Partner with subject matter experts as needed (Demand Support, Service Delivery divisions, Implementation, etc.) to assist in the needs analysis, due diligence and capability overview of qualified prospects.
  • Consult with members of the organization to develop solutions, pricing strategy and value proposition for identified opportunities. This may include coordinating requests for proposals/presentations with the RFP Team, Pricing Managers/Finance Managers, Contracts Administration and Implementation.
  • Partner with the customer and internal stakeholders to ensure all needs are being met.
  • Negotiate contract terms, non-standard requirements, and service offerings.
  • Develop and hone industry knowledge by staying current with all aspects of the workforce solutions industry and competitive data; learning and keeping others informed of market information; building relationships across the sales team and within other organizations within the business.
  • Develop active customer and industry networks and relationships.

The Essentials:

  • Degree in Business Administration or similar field equivalent B2B high level sales experience
  • Minimum five years workforce solutions industry experience with an emphasis on consultative strategic sale
  • Experience selling RPO, VMS/MSP is highly desirable. Experience selling BPO a plus.
  • Experience in selling to senior level stakeholders across Human Resources, Procurement and Operations
  • Demonstrated ability to present in front of senior level audiences including board-level customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated success in developing account strategies, managing a sales pipeline and end-to-end consultative sales
  • Ability to problem solve and offer solutions that meets prospective customer needs.
  • High level of financial acumen.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French is an asset
