Account Development Representative

Our client is a fast growing, publicly traded Canadian technology company.   They are addiding a Account Development Representative (ADR) to their Vancouver team.

  • Following up on web inquiries, incoming calls, and emails, as well as providing sales support to the field sales team.
  • Pre-qualify leads and develop the best opportunities to the point of hand-off for field sales personnel.
  • Build a pipeline within targeted accounts.
  • Build and manage lead development pipeline; ensuring all calling activities and lead qualification activities are documented, tracked and measured.
  • Achieve or exceed goal for qualified leads to field sales team on a monthly basis.
  • Qualify all sales leads based upon lead qualification criteria definitions; including assigning all qualified leads to the appropriate sales account/territory owner
  • Provide baseline research (LinkedIn) within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to conducting prospecting calls
  • Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects & clients; including any customer care activities and campaigns when required.
  • Provide weekly activity reports to management team
  • Update all lead activities and progress, rank/stage and prospect interaction in our CRM application daily


  • 2+ years of lead qualification experience, including performing a targeted number of outbound calls to prospective mid-sized & large organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience both over the phone and via email.
  • Expertise in the ‘lead qualification’ discussion;
    • uncovering the pain points
    • determining timeline/budget/requirements
    • positioning best solution fit, objection handling, highlighting differentiators, etc.
  • Must have an excellent phone manner and love speaking to all types of people.
  • Very comfortable speaking to all types of prospective buyers
  • Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a highly automated business environment where entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required.
  • Ability to work in a high energy, sales team environment and true team-player.
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, v-mail, MS Office & CRM)
