Account Manager (Distribution)

Our client is a leading industrial distributor that has a massive footprint in the lower mainland and across western Canada.  The Account Manager will be reporting to the regional head office but will be primarily home based.  The sales team works with a supportive and friendly sales manager who is there to help you surpass your budget.  This position operates in an energetic environment and if you are a motivated and hard-working sales professional who wants to earn $100K+, I want to hear from you. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Meeting current accounts, opening new accounts, creating quotes and closing orders

Becoming the ‘go-to’ for technical expertise on what products to purchase

Offer industry leading pre-sales and post-sales customer service

Work tightly with teammates to ensure customers are satisfied at all times

Desired Skills:

Able to building long standing relationships

Customer service focused and able to build rapport within accounts

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail with the capacity to multi-task

Strong networker with the ability to gather referrals

Can work effectively within the team and on your own

Comfortable with MS Word, Excel and Power Point

Minimum Requirements:

2 years of sales experience

High School graduate
