The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Branch Sales Manager’s primary area of focus is to expand the existing customer base of the dealership through providing effective leadership and coaching of a team of Agricultural Sales Consultants, located in Southwestern Manitoba.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all planning, administration and general sales management issues, including the day-to-day supervision of staff and direct reports;
  • Ensure bottom line profitability for Whole Good Sales and Used Sales.
  • Train staff and monitor their performance and progress, as well as Communicate with other departments, staff groups and customers;
  • Develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing problems and producing new solutions
  • Produce regular and timely reports and statistics to drive business performance by reviewing productivity levels along with branch sales/commissions
  • Manage the supply chain process and liaise with a variety of parties, including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, and consumers
  • Co-ordinate processes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • This position will have responsibility for maintaining customer relationships with a key component of the position related to direct customer sales of new and used equipment to select targeted accounts.
  • Leadership and the ability to build an engaged, professional and effective team will be essential.

As the ideal candidate, you possess an undergraduate degree, preferably with a focus on Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Sales and Marketing, along with a minimum of ten years of sales and sales management experience.  You possess a solid knowledge of the technical aspects of agriculture, industrial equipment and materials handling. You are demonstrated hands on leader who can provide the direction and vision to fuel the sales growth of the branch with a strong focus on achieving results. With a heightened sense of urgency, the ideal candidate would be extremely detail oriented, possess an entrepreneurial drive with superior interpersonal and communication skills, a strong business sense and an ability to analyze data and industry trends.
