Director of New Business Development – Marketing

Our client is a Calgary performance-based marketing agency providing exceptional brand solutions with proven digital marketing expertise for their regional and national clients. 

The Director of New Business Development works closely with the Managing Partners and the Sr. Account Manager. As the title suggests they are responsible for the acquisition, on-boarding and success of new clients. They have an understanding of marketing and creative strategy, from briefing to final delivery. A persuasive communicator, well-informed of marketing and media trends that has a passion for new business development, pitching & presenting, crafting marketing strategy.

They work well in a team environment and are focused not only on our client’s success but in positioning the internal team for success with the client. Working closely with the Account Team they are a part of providing clarity for agency and client, by crafting concise proposals, contracts, statements of work and estimates.  

The ideal profile for this position will be an individual with experience in marketing, in particular at the agency level or related field. Strong communication skills and IT fluency. Ability to manage complex projects and multitask important. This person should be an active listener and have a persuasive sales personality with a hunger to chase and close new business.

Remuneration

This position compensation is comprised of a base salary of $65K in addition to an industry competitive commission structure and full group benefit program
