Channel Sales Manager

Channel/Area Sales Manager – Western Canada (BC & Alberta)

Our client is a leader in the area of business document solutions. At this time they have a desire to add an Area Sales Manager to their Dealer Channel sales team.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing market share and strengthening dealer business in the Alberta and British Columbia markets.

  • Develop, maintain and grow business relationships with existing authorized dealers.
  • Identify and recruit new dealers.
  • Provide support to dealers related to pricing, sales promotions and financing.
  • Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations for the products, business applications and document management solutions.
  • Sales training and mentoring of dealer partners and their sales teams.
  • Analyze sales territory and develop sales strategies to optimize growth.
  • Business consulting.
  • Visit dealers within the sales territory and attend local trade shows or meetings as required.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the office equipment industry with advanced knowledge of sales techniques.
  • University education preferred but not required.
  • Charismatic & Presentable
  • Disciplined self-starter who is able to work with limited supervision
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and email (Lotus Notes).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Motivated individual with proven ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual goals.


  • +$100K Inclusive of – Attractive base salary, commission plan and car allowance
