Position Summary:

The Small Business Sales Manager is responsible for the organic profitable growth of Small and Large Business sales within the northern Alberta marketplace. Working as part of a team; you’ll find the tools, resources, and support to help you explore opportunities and realize your full potential. To support further growth, we are looking for a highly motivated, technically skilled, customer-focused individual who wants to be part of a winning team. You will have great flexibility to grow your market within broad guidelines. As a result, the company sales professionals enjoy a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced culture. The company provides a strong training and onboarding program, marketing and financial support along with a sophisticated technology infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a grow territory within northern Alberta. Focus on selling diverse products to businesses while maximizing recurring revenue contribution.
  • Implement and administer sales programs in commercial consumer markets to maximize profitable opportunities.
  • Work closely with local installation teams to ensure effective completion while maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Develop success by regularly communicating results and job expectations and working with the company CRM.
  • Ensure adherence to current corporate policies, procedures, products, programs, pricing, budget, technologies and services through timely communications.
  • Regular communication with Sales Manager.
  • Interacts with all levels – from executives to installers – while engaged in problem solving and situations that require conflict resolution.
  • Model and champion corporate values.


  • Post secondary would be considered an asset however careful consideration given to an individuals background related to industry and experience
  • Ability to grow territory based on business development as well as maximizing opportunities within existing accounts.
  • 3 to 5 years proven previous experience within the security, CCTV, card access or other related industries preferred
  • Has a proven successful track record in corporate sales or related industries working with small, medium and large accounts.
  • Effectively educated clients on products and services and success in consultative selling.
  • Use of reliable vehicle with valid drivers license.

Remuneration for this position will consist of a base salary and commissions targeting first-year at $70-$90K commensurate upon background experience, automobile allowance and full benefit program including RRSP matching.
