Account Manager, Northern Alberta – Optical

In this role as Account Manager you will execute the territory sales plan for Edmonton and surrounding area responsible for sales growth and increased market share within your optometry clinic accounts.

• Manage customer relationships by developing profitable commercial agreements and tailoring promotions to drive sales growth and penetration of products into existing and future accounts
• Sell premium optical products and services to partner clinics and healthcare professionals
• Meet and exceed sales targets, goals, account acquisition and business development objectives
• Develop and execute detailed territory plans at a customer and a product level
• Analyze the business environment and territory performance and make adjustments for optimal performance as necessary
• Participate in business development activities; congress, conferences, training sessions
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by working in collaboration with internal departments; sales, marketing, production, customer service

Qualified candidates possess 2 years outside sales experience within the HEALTHCARE sector, OPTICAL sales experience is preferred. Outstanding selling, negotiating, and presentation skills with the ability to master exceptional product knowledge is required.
