Order Desk Coordinator

 Position Scope:

Reporting to Senior Management, the Order Desk Coordinator responsible for providing ongoing administrative support, including coordinating and administering documentation, assisting with inventory, preparing sales orders, responding to emails and interacting with customers over the phone. Hours for this role are Sunday to Friday from 7am – 3pm.



  • Handle all incoming orders and provide the client with information about the products/services
  • Prepare sales orders and shipping sheets
  • Checks inventory to make sure requested product is available
  • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion
  • Receive appointment confirmations
  • Finalize all bills and provide to shippers
  • Monitor emails and retail link for changes
  • Send new orders to the warehouse
  • Prepare load for next delivery date
  • Communicate with trucking company and clients regularly
  • Receive all POD’s for previous day
  • Check off POD’s received, scan and save to file


Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to multitask and assist with coordinating concurrent tasks
  • Highly motivated, self-starter; able to provide sound judgement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to work 6 days a week (one weekend shift). Additional compensation is provide.


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ year of administrative experience
  • MS Office Applications expertise is a must
