Our client, a leading provider of high end office interiors and furniture, offers a luxury product line and high level of client service. This organization has offered their services to the Canadian market for decades and is going through an exciting update of: operational processes and technological investment.
Last quarter, the Director of Sales and the CEO determined it was time to make another strategic hire. They seek a proven consultative sales professional with track record for building rapport, qualifying leads and presenting, this design driven solution. Note, this company is growing their sales team in other areas at present, exciting growth ahead.

The details of this career opportunity:

  • Work with the Director of Sales to map a territory and follow up on leads, then qualify, present and move toward close
  • Engage with new and existing customers across Greater Vancouver
  • Converse with this group through: phone calls and client visits
  • Maintain an active data base of target customers and core clientele
  • Be open and ready to collaborate with your team to improve sales processes and product delivery systems
  • Engage with commercial realtors, property managers, land lords, interior designers and architects

What makes you qualified:

  • 3+ years of sales experience; consultative sales approach is a must
  • Ideally the candidate will come from a design background, of some capacity
  • Track record to support: strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to sell to all levels; C-level to lower level decision makers and influencers; commercial brokers and GCs
  • Proven ability to measure and report sales activity is a nice to have
  • Strong oral and written skills and detail orientation
  • A desire to be the face of a company; polish goes a long way!

Compensation:

  • $55,000+ base salary plus competitive commission plan
  • Total expected comp will progress rapidly over the first 3 years
