Sales Executive – Commercial Security (Vancouver)

Our client is a leading manufacturer and installer of custom video surveillance gear, including cameras and storage hardware.  They help companies across the globe improve safety, security and operational efficiency.  They are currently searching for a Sales Executive – Commercial Security in their Security Division in Vancouver.

The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this role will primarily focus on generating and creating new customers as well as assisting in the retention of clients by developing partner relationships with them and by providing professional and top-quality service.

Sales Executive Deliverables:

  • Conducts cold calls, prospects and qualifies account opportunities.
  • Develops pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing opportunities.
  • Identifies and creates business needs with senior executive decision makers
  • Creates and communicates the value proposition with prospects and clients
  • Closes opportunities.
  • Initiate post-sale follow with customers
  • Participate in trade shows and marketing events
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts


  • Post Secondary education or relevant industry experience would be an asset.
  • Strong IT Security knowledge or related vertical knowledge
  • 5 years’ successful B2B sales experience (business to business)
    • Ability to position value and solution sale
  • Highly motivated, professional and energetic
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver’s license
