Sales Executive – Outdoor Power Equipment

Compensation: 75k Base + Incentives

Territory: Western Canada

Based out of our clients GVRD Sales Office this position has responsibilities for a territory focused on sales opportunities primarily in British Columbia, but that will also include travel to Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as main Outdoor Power Equipment contact with industrial and retail customers and specialty customers.
  • Sales plan development for all Outdoor Power Equipment product line(s).
  • Responsible for establishing and achieving account sales targets.
  • Deliver product knowledge seminars & training.
  • Implementation and execution of strategic plans related to Outdoor Power Equipment.
  • Monitor and analyses sales results by account.
  • Support Sales & Service management on special projects as required.
  • Building and managing Distributor networks.

The successful candidate should have extensive OPE product knowledge and customer relation skills gathered over 3 to 5 years of National or Regional account experience, ideally, within the outdoor power equipment sector. Post- secondary education is required as are superior verbal and written communication skills and Microsoft Office skills.
