Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Consumer Goods Firm!

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting senior management as well as the sales and marketing teams. This person must be an outgoing self-starter that can keep up in a fast-paced environment, a wiz at Excel, have strong attention to detail with outstanding writing and verbal skills; a passion for cooking is a plus! You will be at the center of all the activity!
What you should expect:

  • Product Launches: Requests new item numbers and completes new item set-ups for internal database
  • Sales Team Liaising: Facilitates selling material requests including product listings and sell sheets
  • Meetings: Takes detailed meeting minutes and distributes organized, well-formatted notes
  • Customer Maintenance: Completes new retail partner account set-up forms and compiles credit applications and opening orders for data entry
  • Tradeshows and Retail Store Set-Ups: Visual merchandises products and props as directed by Retail Operation and Marketing teams
  • Market Research: Produces and updates competitive matrix by product category and / or retailer type
  • Master Price Listings: Creates profit and loss working files on a bi-annual basis for the distribution of product master listing price changes; formats listing thoroughly
  • Special Projects: Various tasks as directed by senior management including participation in events, warehouse sales, retail operations, sales and marketing functions

What you should bring:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an Administrative Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Sales Administrator or similar role
  • Completion of post-secondary education in Business and/or Marketing / Advertising
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience conducting Market Research is preferred
