Our client is a leading Manitoba distributor of industrial supplies and automotive parts, who has earned an enviable reputation of sourcing products for their customers creating a faster, cheaper and better experience.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for proactively serving the needs of the Automotive and Industrial Supply Markets within Manitoba.  This role has responsibility for all aspects of Business Development through providing superior customer service.

The ideal candidate with have the ability to manage and develop key relationships, acquire new accounts through a well-planned business development strategy, prioritize sales activities and to organize and maintain all monthly sales pipeline and financial reporting.

  • Approach existing and potential customers with the aim of winning new/expanding business
  • Build on and maintain customer relationships by listening to and identifying their requirements and presenting them with solutions (make their life/job easier).
  • Provide expert advice to customers on parts and supplies.
  • Promoting, selling and servicing accounts in the assigned territory. Achieve the annual assigned sales target.
  • Acquire new accounts through prospecting & cold calling. Provide regular feedback on the status of new business development and achieve the annual sales objective.
  • Identify existing customers and take action to minimize risks & maximize opportunities for growth. Provide regular feedback on the status of activities. Follow-up all sales leads given by the company.
  • Record stock orders accurately, effectively and clearly for processing and liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders, follow-up to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Minimum 5 years in an outside sales environment
  • Results focused with strong prospecting and needs analysis skills; proven ability to generate sales and grow a territory.
  • Post-Secondary education is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral & written)
  • Customer focused, skilled at interacting with customers, strategic thinker and exceptional problem solver.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork
