Sales Representative – Optical Lens Industry

Our client is a multinational corporation specializing in optics and imaging products. 
The sales representative is responsible to achieve key business goals that have been defined for the territory (volume growth; revenue growth; improvement of the product range, etc.). The representative will need to maintain and develop excellent professional relationships with actual clients and potential clients. The representative needs to analyze the regional competitive factors, determine action plans and present strategies to insure growth of territory.
What you should expect:

  • Visit actual clients and maintain solid business link
  • Identify business opportunities and potential new clients and establish good business link
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with clients
  • Review the commercial interest on an annual basis to insure that terms are respected
  • Implement business development program with clients to motivate their growth
  • Make product and method management training accessible to clients
  • Presence at the salons for the professionals of the sight, to events of continuous formation, symposia and congresses
  • Promote the new products et promotional activities as developed by Marketing department
  • Promote, deployed and train on current sales tools
  • Analyze sales reports (ex. SSDB, CARE), monitor the development of new products and take any appropriate corrective action
  • Analyze concurrency factors, make recommendation and insure the set-up of any appropriate corrective action
  • Prepare sales activity reports on a daily and weekly basis
  • Develop and prepare details action plans for the territory, by buying group, by client and product
  • Increase sales of the group through laboratories (units and net revenue) inside the territory
  • Continuously identify opportunities for amelioration which contributes to keep and grow market shares
  • This job needs to be available for frequent trips, in certain case during weekend and/or nights outside of home

Education and Experience:

  • College/University diploma in business, optic or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales –  in optic field is an advantage

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Optic knowledge an advantage
  • Marked skills in organization, territory management, follow up with customers
  • Priority management and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • English, French an advantage
