Our client has established a new company, in an area they know extremely well! Created by a local Executive from the mobility industry, and a longtime player in Business Process Outsourcing, this team has found an underserviced area in the North American economy. Their intention is to offer customer service, by phone and chat bots, across North America, utilizing their well-established network of call centers in Asia.
The concept: As part of the typical buying process, consumers usually first jump online to research a set of products and services. Experts maintain at this stage, buyers can be won over! Therefore, chat-bots have been embedded into websites as a resource to answer questions, share features and gain commitment. This tend appears to be catching on.
To control this growth and ensure for a strong customer experience, the time has come to formally establish a sales team. Their first hire will be business development focused consultant with experience in building new markets across a territory, either locally or across North America.

The details of this career opportunity:

  • Enter the market with a strong message, speaking of the benefits to selling this compelling, business process outsourcing service (24-hour customer service phone and chat bots)
  • In time, assist in scaling future sales reps and teach them on a consultative sales process; ride along, desk side sales training
  • Work with the President, offshore stakeholders and other decision maker set revenue targets, build a strategy and execute on the company’s action plan
  • Engage with new and existing customers across Canadian and US territories; target audience being: any businesses currently engaged in customer service or light sales activity over: phone, email or webchat: ideal targets: services, ecommerce, products etc.
  • Map your territory and efficiently work a pipeline of prospects and core clientele
  • Converse with this group through: hosted industry events, targeted phone calls, email communication and the occasional client drop in – and travel as needed
  • Be the face of this company, they may be new, but they will hit the North American market hard
  • Receive support from your team of experts; this role is not just a desk and a phone

What makes you qualified:

  • 5+ years of sales experience; consultative sales approach is a must
  • Nice to have: experience BPO or work flow, service sales, where you have sold on ROI
  • Track record to support: strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to sell to all levels; C-level to lower level decision makers
  • Desire to be part of something new and exciting, and be flexible with job description at times
  • Proven ability to measure and report sales activity

Compensation:

  • $60,000 – $75,000 base salary plus competitive commission plan based on a MRR, for the life of the customer (no diminishing commission)
  • Car allowance, phone, laptop and expense account
