Senior Sales Representative (Inside)

Our client, an established and entrepreneurial Software as a Service (SaaS) organization is looking for an experienced Inside Senior Sales Representative.
The ideal candidate is a Senior Sales Representative who is self-motivated and is a driven “Hunter”.  The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for closing new sales of software subscriptions to prospects in their assigned territory. This position is based at their Vancouver office and reports to the Inside Sales Manager.

  • Sell software subscriptions to new business prospects in North America in the distribution and manufacturing industries to achieve or exceed the plan for new Annual Recurring Revenue:
    • Grow revenue and market share
    • Uses a defined and organized sales process.
    • Engages in highly professional qualification/discovery meetings to uncover the key insights (like compelling events) that fuel sales growth and maximize sales results.
    • Leverages insights and influence to get decision makers to the table.
    • Delivers compelling presentations and proposals that meet the requirements of prospects.
    • Confidently handles objections from stakeholders as part of advancing the sale.
  • CRM Responsibility:
    • Document selling activity, key learnings, and key stakeholders.
    • Manage pipeline according to the sales process for reliable forecasting.
    • Provide management with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Represent the company at various marketing events and meetings as needed across North America.


  • 7+ years of demonstrable sales success
    • Selling SaaS, software, or IT services in new or emerging markets to customers where budget may not have existed.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution and manufacturing markets
  • Proven ability to handle the full sales cycle in a professional manner:
    • Discovery, presentations, demonstrations, opportunity analysis, opportunity qualification, benefit justification, proposal generation, and closing.
  • Driven to succeed, entrepreneurial, and confident in their ability to adapt and overcome adversity/objections.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and able to earn the “Trusted Advisor” status with prospects and key stakeholders to facilitate the full discovery of key pain points, buyer motivations, and compelling events.


  • Excellent English communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Good listening, interpersonal, and telephone selling skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of markets served and key selling messages.
  • Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Sales, Business Administration or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Must be flexible with respect to working hours (able to serve customers in their local hours).
  • Must have experience with online presentations and software demos, using products like WebEx or
