Our client is a growing consulting practice in Calgary, they are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Specialist to their team.

Role Description
The successful candidate will be expected to lead the identification, selection and recruitment of high quality senior professional project managers, business analysts, change managers and business process consultants in the IT and consulting industry.

Key duties include:
• Full lifecycle recruiting process including the preparation and updating of role descriptions, selection, interviewing, successful candidate orientation and maintaining accurate and organized documentation on all candidates, searches, interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a thorough record is maintained.
• Support the Sales team by helping to identify suitable consultants or new candidates for client project opportunities by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to opportunity requirements.
• Provide support to consultants for their next assignment by identifying their marketing preferences, conducting regular personal touch points, and ensuring they have their resume updated and ready for the Sales team.

Experience Attributes:
• 8+ year’s experience in full lifecycle recruiting, preferably with 5 years of experience in the professional services and IT industry.
• An expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, and relationship management.
• A wide degree of creativity, near and long-term recruiting vision, business and IT understanding, and personal organization.
• Must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
• Knowledge and comfort in the use of applicant and candidate tracking systems.
• Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases.
• Demonstrated ability to present and sell recommendations to senior level individuals.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to identify and present new recruiting concepts and approaches.
• Ability to build search assignment abstracts from sales discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit for a range of positions.• Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a local level.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and good judgment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (ie Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Good working knowledge of LinkedIn.
• Knowledge in the use of Maximizer CRM would be helpful.
