Team Lead, Customer Supply Chain Services

Our client is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Team Lead — a critical role within the organization, requiring the individual to work closely with the broader Supply Chain team in order to drive operational efficiencies and continuously improve the support provided to valued Trade Partners. In this leadership role, the individual will be responsible for managing a team of Trade Partner Services Representatives, supporting and enabling the achievement of individual, departmental, and organizational objectives. The Trade Partner Services team is accountable for all aspects of Trade Partner and Consumer order management processes and support, from order entry through to final delivery. This team is on the front lines and is responsible for delivering accurate, appropriate and courteous expert support in a fast-paced contact center environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large team including the ongoing coaching, performance management, and development of all team members
  • Drive efficiencies through implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate the associated change management activities
  • Be a positive role model for the team and the organization by exemplifying the Company’s Leadership Model, and inspiring the team to meet and exceed customer expectations in each and every one of their interactions
  • Ongoing communication and relationship management with designated Trade Partners, including both their Buying and Supply Chain contacts, as appropriate
  • Resolve level 3 escalations with direct consumers and Trade Partners
  • Supporting the Sales Team with promotions and flooring
  • Partner with the respective Project Team to roll out new technology/systems, including development and execution of training and documentation
  • Reporting and analytics relating to orders as well as team productivity and performance (i.e. call and email metrics)
  • Represent the TPS team on cross-functional initiatives
  • Drive initiatives to build a culture of leadership, high performance, and teamwork, as well as support achievement of organizational sales goals and service level objectives
  • Proactively act as a liaison between TPS and the Company to drive business results
  • Support the overall Company business strategies

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience in a People Leadership role
  • Superior interpersonal, team building and communication skills.
  • A proven track record of success analyzing and interpreting performance metrics and trends and translating these into appropriate action plans is required
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset
