Territory Sales Consultant – Ag Equipment

Our client is a North American industry leader and dependable equipment partner to their customers. On their behalf, we seek to recruit a Territory Sales Consultant for the branch located in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Branch Sales Manager, the Sales Consultant’s primary area of focus is to expand the territory through new account acquisition and growth within the existing customer base.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote both new and used product to existing clients
  • Identify and solicit potential customers and clients
  • Consult with customers and identify product to suit customer’s needs
  • Coordinate after sales support and service to ensure long term client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Estimate costs of maintaining equipment and products

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record of prospecting and closing new business.
  • 3+ years experience as an outside sales representative in the heavy duty or Ag equipment sector
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of agriculture industry and equipment is an asset
