Territory Sales Representative – HD Parts

Our client is a North American leader in the distribution of heavy-duty products for the truck and trailer industry.

We are actively searching for a self-motivated sales professional covering a territory of Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba. Ideally, the candidate will reside in either the Calgary, Regina, or Saskatoon areas.

The Territory Manager will oversee all sales responsibilities for driving sales growth in the region working from home office with a strong travel component. This includes wholesale locations and other divisions of the organization to contribute to its overall success. With an in-depth knowledge of business operations, the Territory Manager is an important team member and contributes to strategic planning for rapid sales growth.


  • Manage business relationships with their wholesale customers.
  • Meet with the managers and buyers of companies to promote a full stable of Drive train, fleet products and services offered.
  • Create sales forecasts and establish annual growth objectives.
  • Advise and coordinate marketing and product training with the support of the Sales Manager, Operations Manager and Marketing Manager.
  • Support authorized distributors with open house assistance, staff training and coordination of these activities thru internal and partner suppliers.
  • Reporting directly to the Sales Manager on potential new customers, pricing, and competition.
  • Ensures the implementation and compliance with corporate policies and established practices and procedures.



  • A minimum of five (5) years of sales experience.
  • At least five years experience in the heavy vehicle parts industry
  • Preferred candidate has a strong experience in the heavy vehicle parts industry.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time (3-4 days/week including outside accommodation).
  • Skilled in the analysis, development, and deployment of initiatives in the territory.
  • Ability to manage priorities with attention to detail. This with a minimum of supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communicator with analytical skills who can solve sales and/or customer service problems daily.
  • Competent with all Microsoft Office products.

Remuneration for this position will consists of a base salary and commission structure targeting first year income at $100,000, company vehicle, gas card, full expenses, strong benefit program including company pension, dental, vision, extended health, RRSP match etc.
