Our client, a leading provider of office interiors and furniture, offers a luxury product line and high level of client service. This organization has offered their services to the Canadian market for decades and is going through an exciting update of: operational processes and technological investment.

This company seeks a proven project coordinator in the office interiors space, interior designer, or even sales professionals with an eye for design, with some familiarity in the interior design, furniture, surface design or building products.

The details of this career opportunity:

  • Work with the president and fellow sales team to set goals, build a strategy and execute on the company’s action plan
  • Engage with new and existing customers across Vancouver
  • Map your territory and efficiently work a pipeline of prospects and core clientele; this candidate will receive referrals and soft intros from the management team
  • Converse with this group through: phone calls and client visits
  • Maintain an active data base of target customers and core clientele
  • Be open and ready to collaborate with your team to improve sales processes and product delivery systems

What makes you qualified:

  • 3+ years of design, project coordination, project management or consultative sales experience
  • Must have familiarity with the design, interiors or building products segment
  • Track record to support: detail orientation, eye for design, listening skills and strategic thinking
  • Ability to sell to all levels; C-level to lower level decision makers and influencers; commercial brokers and GCs
  • Proven ability to measure and report sales activity is a nice to have

Compensation:

  • $48,000+ base salary plus competitive commission plan; this is not necessarily a junior role – there is a significant commission opportunity on completed projects, on time and on budget
  • Industry wide incomes came range broadly but good performers will earn well over 100k
  • Car allowance, phone, laptop and expense account
